How to measure the height of your vehicle

To determine the height to book, you should measure the distance between the ground and the top of your vehicle, including trailers at the rear or any object on the roof of the vehicle. Please round your measurement up to the next whole number.

E.g.
- Total height of exactly 6 feet à please check “6 feet and under”
- Total height of 6 feet 2 inches à please check “higher than six feet”

Important: If you book the wrong height category, you have until three hours before your departure to change your reservation, free of charge, by entering the right category. However, if you are not registered in the right category at the time of departure, here is the procedure:

• You will have to pay a $25 modification fee.
• If you move to the higher category; your reservation will only be kept if there is availability for that category. Otherwise, you will automatically be put back into the queue.

*Please note that the car icons are for reference only. It is possible that your vehicle is included in a category without the corresponding icon being shown.

How to measure the length of your vehicle

To determine the length to book, you should measure the distance between the front and rear ends of your vehicle, including trailers and objects which exceed the normal length of the vehicle. Please round your measurement up to the nearest whole number.

E.g.
- Total length of exactly 25 feet à please enter 25 feet

- Total length of 25 feet 1 inch à please enter 26 feet

Important: If you book with a wrong measurement, you have until 3 hours before your departure to change your reservation, free of charge, by entering the correct length. However, if you are not registered in the right category at the time of departure, here is the procedure:

• You will have to pay the difference between one price bracket and the other.
• You will have to pay a $25 modification fee.
• If you move two categories, you will automatically be put back into the queue.
