For morning crossings, the dock opens at 5 a.m. and for evening crossings, the dock opens at 5 p.m.
Note that passengers are not allowed to leave their vehicle on the dock and/or sleep on the dock. - Departing from Souris
The Souris dock and terminal open at 8:30 a.m., but passengers may leave their vehicle on the dock and/or sleep on the dock. However, passengers who sleep on the dock will have to leave the dock before boarding begins to go to the gate to check in.
Here are directions to reach the port of Souris, Prince Edward Island.
From Quebec, Ontario and the rest of Canada
- Take the Trans-Canada Highway (2) to Rivière-du-Loup.
- Take Highway 185 to the New Brunswick border.
- Continue on the Trans-Canada Highway (2) and then take Highway 15 to Cap-Pelé.
- Then take Highway 16 to Prince Edward Island (Confederation Bridge).
- After crossing the Confederation Bridge, take the Trans-Canada Highway (1) to Charlottetown.
- Take Highway 2 to Souris.
- Following the signs to the ferry terminal.
From the United States
- Take Interstate 95 to Woodstock, New Brunswick.
- Continue on the Trans-Canada Highway (2) then take Highway 16 to Prince Edward Island (Confederation Bridge).
- After crossing the Confederation Bridge, take the Trans-Canada Highway (1) to Charlottetown.
- Take Highway 2 to Souris.
- Follow the signs to the ferry terminal.
